District 17 is one of the 19 Districts of the Ontario Horticultural Society. Covering all of Durham Region, its 12 groups have 1200 members and offer over 100 presentations by qualified and renowned speakers each season.

Each group offers back to its community special gardening initiatives and programs, including Plant Sales, public gardens, and youth and senior programs.

This website is an opportunity to share the efforts of the 12 groups, keep them up to date with news from OHA, and to direct readers to the websites maintained by many of the D17 groups.
